We consider this plate with a slightly less rounded bottom to be specially suitable as a centre piece for a table. The rim is high enough to use it for dishes with a sauce.

Inspired by the orient, the lightness of the peonies with their delicate flowers is framed by a geometrical motif formed from the same elements, buds and leaves, which are present in the decor of the center.
